Bulk Redirect Checker
Follow every redirect.
Verify the right destination.
Use this bulk redirect checker to review HTTP status codes, follow redirect paths and test old-to-new URL mappings before or after a migration.
Check your URLs
Paste one URL per line, or upload a CSV with old_url,new_url columns. Expected destinations are optional. Up to 25 URLs per batch.
URLs are sent to this website’s server to test their public HTTP responses. Results may be cached for five minutes. No Google account or paid API key is required.
Your redirect results
| Source URL | First status | Redirects | Final URL / status | Findings & path |
|---|
“No issues detected” describes the tested HTTP path only. It does not certify content relevance, indexing, canonical tags or ranking preservation.
A bulk 301 redirect checker for migration reviews
Test permanent redirects and identify temporary responses, unnecessary chains, loops and unsuccessful final responses. When you supply an expected URL, the checker compares it with the actual final destination. A direct 308 is also a permanent redirect; it is not automatically an error.
How to use the bulk URL redirect checker
- Collect the old URLs you want to test.
- Paste your list or upload an old/new URL CSV.
- Run the check and expand each redirect path.
- Export the findings and review issues with your developer.
Using a bulk URL redirect checker online makes it easier to review many mappings in one place. Start with important service pages, products and pages receiving useful traffic or external links.
What the findings mean
- Redirect chain
- More than one redirect before the final response. Review whether the source can point directly to the intended destination.
- Redirect loop
- The same URL is encountered again. The checker stops instead of continuing indefinitely.
- Destination mismatch
- The actual final URL differs from the expected URL. Scheme, path, trailing slash and query differences are retained; fragments are ignored.
- 403 or 429 response
- The destination may restrict automated requests. This does not necessarily mean the page is unavailable to normal visitors.
Frequently asked questions
Can I check URLs without an expected destination?
Yes. Paste one public HTTP or HTTPS URL per line. Add a second CSV column when you want to validate specific migration mappings.
Does this tool change my redirects?
No. It checks responses and produces findings. Your developer must implement any changes.
Will it detect JavaScript or meta refresh redirects?
No. This version checks HTTP redirects. It does not execute JavaScript or analyze page content.
Why can a check be incomplete?
The checker stops on a loop, an unsafe destination, a connection error, eight redirects or a time limit. An incomplete result does not verify the final destination. Servers may respond differently to automated HEAD requests; a small GET request is used when HEAD is explicitly unsupported.
Does a successful redirect guarantee SEO performance?
No. Also review destination relevance, page content, internal links, canonicals and indexing settings.
